The two behind the cameras.
We’re Luke and Emily, the engaged couple behind Watson & Co. Weddings documentary wedding photographers based in the North East.
Our approach to weddings is pretty simple we want you to spend your wedding actually enjoying it, not feeling like you’re on a photoshoot.
Most of the day, we’ll blend into the background and document things as they happen. The nerves before the ceremony, the reactions, the laughter, the chaos and all the little moments you might not even notice at the time.
When you do need us, we’ll step in. We’ll organise the family photographs, guide you through your couple portraits and make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Then we’ll get out of the way and let you get back to your wedding.
Two photographers. Two perspectives.
There’s a reason there are two of us.
While one of us is capturing what’s happening in front of you, the other can be watching everything happening around you.
We can be in two places during the morning, photograph the ceremony from different perspectives and catch the reactions and little moments that would be impossible for one photographer to see at once.
It means more of your wedding gets documented without us having to constantly interrupt it.
We know being photographed can feel awkward.
We’re planning a wedding ourselves, so we understand that most couples aren’t used to having cameras following them around all day.
And you don’t need to be.
You don’t need to know how to pose, what to do with your hands or where to look. When a photograph needs a little direction, we’ll give it. When it doesn’t, we’ll leave you alone.
The result is a wedding gallery that still feels like you.
