Our wedding photography packages start from £1,000 for up to four hours of coverage, with full-day coverage from £1,650.

Every package includes both Luke & Emily as your photographers, individually edited high-resolution photographs and a private online gallery.

Travel throughout the North East is included too, so there are no additional travel costs for weddings across the region.

Having two photographers means we can document more of your wedding without constantly moving you around or interrupting what's happening.

During the morning, we can be in two different locations. During the ceremony, one of us can photograph the moment while the other captures the reactions. Throughout the day, we're able to photograph things happening simultaneously that one photographer simply couldn't catch alone.

Documentary wedding photography is about photographing your wedding as it actually happens, rather than constantly staging moments for the camera.

For most of the day, we'll blend into the background and photograph the real moments, reactions, laughter, nerves and chaos happening around us.

That doesn't mean there are no posed photographs. We'll still guide you through your couple portraits and organise the family photographs that matter we just don't want your wedding to feel like one long photoshoot.

That's completely fine! Most couples aren't used to being professionally photographed.

You don't need to know how to pose, where to look or what to do with your hands. When a photograph needs some direction, we'll guide you through it and keep things relaxed.

For the rest of the day, you can forget about the cameras and enjoy your wedding while we document what's happening naturally.

Absolutely.

Documentary doesn't mean we're going to refuse to organise a photograph with your mam.

We'll make time for the important family photographs and any other group photographs you'd really like. We recommend keeping the list reasonably short so you can get back to enjoying your wedding rather than spending an hour working through different combinations of people.

It depends on how much of your wedding you'd like documented.

Our 4-hour Short Story works well for smaller weddings or couples who only want part of the day covered.

Our 8-hour Full Story gives us enough time to document much more of the day, from preparations through the ceremony, reception, speeches and into the evening.

For couples who want everything from the morning preparations through to the dancing at night, our Whole Story provides up to 12 hours of coverage.

We don't work to a fixed number of photographs because every wedding is different.

Instead, we'll carefully select and individually edit the strongest photographs that tell the story of your day. Your final gallery will include everything from the big moments through to the smaller interactions and details happening around them.

We'd rather deliver a complete, carefully edited story than chase an arbitrary number of images.

After your wedding, we'll carefully select and individually edit your final photographs before delivering them through your private online gallery.

Turn around times are 6-8 weeks maximum!

Yes. We offer fine-art wedding albums for couples who want something physical to keep alongside their digital gallery.

A fine-art wedding album is included with our Whole Story package, and albums can also be added separately to our other wedding photography packages.

We'll check our availability and get back to you. If you'd like to go ahead, a booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding.

Once that's sorted, we're yours.

Yes. Every Watson & Co. Weddings package includes both of us as your photographers.
